Pickup Suggestions

I have an old 1980's TeleStar (I know this thing is useless, but it was my fathers and very sentimental to me) which is unsurprisingly not working. While I have it apart and fixing it, i thought I'd replace the pickups to get a better "twang" sound similar to the Telecaster. I wouldn't dare compare the two in terms of quality but anyone have any ideas of some pickups that may give me a better sound and would fit?

En el apartado GEAR puedes ver varias pastillas que usa Brad, voodoo pickups, apc pickups, lindy frallin pickups... Pero yo no me gastaria dinero en ellas. Creo que es mas importante tener una guitarra que se aproxime al sonido que buscas sin necesidad de andar cambiando las pastillas. En mi opinión lo más importante es saber tocar el estilo, es decir, Brad Paisley con una Gibson Les Paul seguro que sonaría country...Yo te recomendaría que te compraras una Fender Telecaster y la guitarra que tienes la dejes como está.
