I am sorry to have to write this blog but I have to say that the excessive sound levels that my wife & I were subjected to in the Olympia Theatre on Friday 19th august during Brads concert ruined what should have been an excellent concert.. Surely, Brads sound engineers should take into consideration the design, layout & accoustics of each venue & thus control sound levels of sound equipment .The Olympia is 150 years old & designed in an era where there was no sound equipment . The equipment used would have been perfect in a much larger venue. The sound levels vastly exceeded the recommended safe level 85dB.In fact, I would estimate that the concert sound levels exceeded 100dB far above what is considered a safe level. We could feel the sound reverberating in our chests & we both felt physically sick for 24 hours after the concert. The excessive sound drowned out the vocals & ruined what should have been an excellent concert.
I know what you mean.
I know what you mean. Outdoor concert with Dierks Bentley. Before he came on they boosted the bass up. Your insides just vibrate. My friend went back to the sound guys and told them to turn it down, they were ruining the concert. They did & we had a good show. They put it up to rev the audience up/
Thank you..its nice to know
Thank you..its nice to know that we are not cranks .. I heard the same back from FANS WHO WENT TO THE CASTLEBAR CONCERT !The vocals were completely drowned out !
The two Brad Paisley concerts
The two Brad Paisley concerts I went to the sound was fine. Guess it depends who is controlling it
It was a beneficial workout
It was a beneficial workout for me to go through your webpage. It definitely stretches the limits with the mind when you go through very good info and make an effort to interpret it properly.
