CHILD DYING OF CANCER WANTS TO MEET BRAD PAISLEY

There is a young boy in Mobile, Ala., who was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Germinoma. It causes tumors in his brain. The human body can usually fight this type of cancer, but Chas has not gone into remission since diagnosed. His cancer cells are taking over, and he is losing the battle of his life. His tumors caused him to lose his sight, but he passes the time in the hospitals by listening to Brad Paisley's music. His only wish is to meet Brad, no cameras, no publicity, just meet him. I met Chas through a blood drive and The Regional School for the Deaf and Blind in Mobile, Ala., in gratitude of the donors who dontated blood for him and how many blood transfusions he has each month. He is currently in the hospital each week receiving both whold blood and platelets. He will go to Birningham this coming week for a chemotherapy treatment so severe it may cause seizures or a stroke. This chemo is their last hope. If it does not work Chas will have to let the cancer run its course and kill him. I have contact information for both his mother and his teacher. They are willing to release any medical documents necessary to prove this is a real child. They have a plane available to travel wherever needed. His time here is winding down and he has never asked for anything but this. Please someone make it mappen. Emily L. Wimbley, LifeSouth Community Blood Center Mobile, Ala. emwimbley@gmail.com

Try calling Make-a-Wish

Try calling Make-a-Wish Foundation. Also check with the hospitals social workers, they may know of any other foundation that may be able to help. Good luck. I have been caring for children for over 20 years, their spirit is uncomparable. I hope this helps.
