Fallen Soldiers' Aunt has request for June 4 show

My Nephew (and Hero) Spc. David R. Fahey Jr., US Army MP, who my sister and I raised from 8 years old, joined the US ARMY 5 years ago at the age of eighteen. He was only 14 at the time of the Sept. 11 attack on our country, but in his mind it was still fresh, still a threat to our nation, and he was plain old ticked off. Dave was a mere 2 1/2 months away from completing his 5 year tour of which his last 9 months was spent in Kandahar, Afghanistan. On February 28, 2011, at the very young age of 23, while out on patrol, my nephew was killed by an improvised explosive device. In his true form, two fellow soldiers lives were saved in large part to Dave, as he had a gut feeling something was wrong and altered course. This turned out to be fatal for him but lifesaving for the rest of his squad. I could go on and on, because we have met and or spoke at length with, the 'brothers' he served with over there, and we learned a side of Dave we never knew. He was modest to say the least, and more concerned over our concern for him, than to boast or brag, or even give us any idea of what life was like for him there. Any and everyone who knew him says that about him. He had simple dreams, nothing extravagent, but real plans for when he returned home, and we were always talking about that with him in those last few weeks he was alive. He wanted to be a State Trooper, which is why he decided from the moment he enlisted that he would be an MP, and he graduated MP training at Ft. Lewis-McChord in Washington, at the head of the class, so to speak. He wanted to meet a nice girl and have a house, a bunch of kids, a fast car, (and a family car), and had even picked out the dog he wanted. Like I said, not extravagant, we are an extremely close family and he wanted that of his own. And David deserved that. That and more, but it was all he wanted. He was a Hero in every sense of the word and one of the funniest guys you ever knew. He pulled the BEST practical jokes and was famous for it, he was always smiling, sounds so clichee but he really did light up a room when he entered.
You may wonder why I am writing all this, well aside from my complete and utter anguish at the loss of a nephew I considered my son, I have so much love and pride for Dave. I want to ask that while I am attending the June 4th conert in Hartford, CT that Mr. Paisley could say a few words in Davids Honor while onstage. I am sure most of his CT fans will remember the news coverage from this tragedy.
David was a huge fan of Brad Paisley (and Nascar Driver Jimmie Johnson) and I am attending in his honor so this would mean the world to me and to my family as, if I had a slight warning in advance, I could record Mr. Paisleys mention of this wonderful kid who really did have a bright, happy future ahead of him. That is the big thing my family will miss out on now, a lifetime of humor that was sure to come. We are still so broken and the laughter has left us presently, but this would be an honest to God honor if Brad could do this for a true American Hero who proves that "Freedom is not Free" .

I really hope this somehow

I really hope this somehow gets to Mr. Paisleys', as well as Mr. Sheltons', or Mr. Neimanns' attention as well as their fans, as I believe that David is truly with God in Heaven and that he watches over us. If this dream becomes reality, there is no doubt in my mind that Dave will be right there with me and I can just hear him laughing at me right now for doing this but he is worth this and so very much more to me. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for his family, his friends, and for every American enjoying their freedoms he fought so hard to protect. I Love You Dave,,,and I Miss You...mre than words could ever say.
